Bob: Been in Toronto working at the temple the last 2 days and without internet except when we were near a hot spot. Left our cabin at 8:00 Friday morning and got back this evening at 7:10. Had a great trip, but we couldn't find the camera to take any pictures. Sister Margetson went with us again. It takes about 7 hours to get to the Toronto Temple from our cabin so we're pretty tired this evening. It's about 350 - 360 miles.
The Toronto Temple is one of the smaller temples. I think it has 2 endowment rooms. Weren't a whole lot of people there this weekend. Did meet a couple that live on an island somewhere near the north part of Lake Huron. They said it is the largest fresh water island in the world. He gave us names to do in the temple. Also, there was a genealogy conference going on right across the street at the Stake Center.
Bonnie: Sister Margetson is a gem! It is her 80th birthday today. Her children surprised her with a party earlier this week because they knew she was going to the temple. I hope I can be as physically able as she is and have her enthusiasm when I am her age. She had to climb in and out of our truck and climb lots of stairs and walk about a good deal. She was willing and happy to do it. And she's led a very interesting life.
All in all, it was a great experience to be in the temple. I love the joy and peace it brings.
