Tuesday - October 21

Bob: Went to Universal Studio theme park today. A lot of walking, but the crowd wasn't big nor the weather too hot. Enjoyable day. Spent a lot of time looking at Harry Potter land. See pictures below.

Bonnie:  It's hard to explain the scope of Universal Studios Theme Park.  It has many different rides and activities dealing with things from Popeye, Spiderman and other/Marvel Comic Super Heroes to Dr. Suess, Lucille Ball, ET, and of course, Harry Potter Land.  We thought the best part was the ride inside Hogwarts, even though it was scary as all get out. We rode the Hogwarts Express twice because it connected the two parts of Harry Potter World. We saw the "sorting hat" and listened to Dumbledorf''s welcome to Hogwarts.  I encourage all Harry Potter fans to try to go if they can. What was also interesting were the number of people there from the British Isles.  It must be a popular place for them to go. We were there from about 9:00 am to 7:00 pm so it was a very long, very fun day. My feet are killing me!  But, I'm so glad we got to go.
